The Disappearance is a film, a non-fiction story where I use money from a prize given by the Vairoletto Foundation (1000USD) to go into the triple frontier, between Puerto Iguazú, Ciudad del Este and Foz de Iguazú.
Once there I take the money and exchange it successively from Argentine pesos to Brazilian Reales to Paraguayan Guaraníes until, because of the different com- missions from currency exchange, the money disappears. While doing so I talk to the camera constantly taking discourse into a semi psychotic state, as if with the loss of money came the loss of self-control.
