Comercio Interior (Internal Commerce) is a performance in which global economy becomes a personal issue, affecting a body through the use of language, work, antipsychotic pills and the uses of certain Avon products.
Keeping my eyes closed and touching people and soft sculptures that gather around the room, I tell a series of affective and economic stories that exist within our emotional lives. Through these stories, I try to redefine the concept of supply and demand, the history of privatizations, and address the question of desire in Spinoza as a way to encourage informal economies to take over the world.
